Back sleepers are usually seeking out a medium to thinner pillow. If a back sleeper chooses a pillow which is too thick, they may find their head begins to prop too far forward, not allowing the neck muscles to relax. This is the most common sleeping position where people tend to "overbuy" and invest in a pillow which is ironically too supportive. Our most popular back sleeper pillows tend to be the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud, the Crescent Moon Organic Alpaca and the St. Geneve Montreux in medium or firm (remember, Montreux is a 650 loft so a firm here is like a medium in an 800 loft Lajord/Ziegler).
