An alpaca filled duvet is a lighter, healthier alternative to a sheep's wool duvet. Alpaca is warmer, stronger, lighter and cleaner than sheep's wool. Of the various fibre fill duvets available today, alpaca is regarded as the best.

All of the alpaca fill used in Crescent Moon's products is sourced from Ranches in Alberta and BC, helping to sustain the local economy and reducing transportation requirements. The duvet is finished with a lovely certified organic cotton cover quilted with cute little crescent moon's to keep everything in place.

Other than duvets filled with high quality pure 800 loft goose down or pure eiderdown, Alpaca is the lighest fill available today. It is even lighter than silk!
