Dapwood design and hand-craft hardwood furniture in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All wood is American-sourced and includes genuine Red Oak, Maple, Cherry and Black Walnut. There are no synthetic finishes or stains. Just pure, natural linseed oil or entirely unfinished on request. The complex joinery assures there is no need for bolts or screws. Each bed is assembled quick and easy by two people and a simple rubber mallet.

The Mattress & Sleep Company is the exclusive Canadian Dapwood retailer. We include free shipping to most locations in Canada and pay all import duties and taxes on your behalf. While Dapwood products are hand-made to order, delivery times are still comparable to "ready made" products. Most orders arrive in approximately 3-4 weeks!

While Dapwood beds by default are designed to use only a mattress, the various height options do make it possible to incorporate a boxspring or foundation for those wishing to have both pieces of the traditional sleep system.

Please note: Dapwood beds are currently available for delivery only to one of our showrooms. Delivery is available anywhere in Canada, although the cost to ship elsewhere is a separate surcharge.

Mod Series

The Mod Series is our primary focus. These beds feature more substantial beams of wood when compared to the Slim Series. Our showrooms tend to display and sell more beds from this series than any other. The Tenor Bed finished in Black Walnut is our best selling model. Mod beds are stylish and affordable.

Slim Series beds keep the cost more reasonable by using simpler side rails and end pieces, while still maintaining strength and durability. Slim Series is perfect for children or for adults with the "Y-leg" upgrade.
