Not all cottons are the same!

When looking at the St. Geneve Eiderdown and the St. Geneve Ziegler Polish we see both employ a 360 thread count Egyptian Cotton cover. Yet, one is 75 grams per square metre and the other is 125. How can this be so? This is further proof that thread count is only one (very small) part of the overall picture when it comes to fabric. Further still, the 400 thread count fabric used by the Salzburg duvet is even lighter than the 360 thread count employed by the Ziegler Polish.
