Dapwood Samba Options

  • Matching footboard - proportioned to a shorter height than the headboard, this option adds a lot of style for a very reasonable price!
  • Double Poplar Slats (0.25" spacing). Recommended for beds with two adults and a heavier mattress
  • "Y" Leg for increased support. Attaches to centre rail and extends to floor
  • Lower overall platform height (-3") - "Lift"
  • Raise overall platform height (+3") - "Down Low"
  • Accommodate different mattress heights:
    • Decrease headboard spacing and overall height 3"
    • Increase headboard spacing and overall height 3"
    • Increase headboard spacing and overall height 6"
  • Unfinished Wood (no Linseed Oil)

All dimensions assume Standard bed without alterations. To determine your mattress height simply take the height of the Platform and add the height of your mattress.

Frame & Slat Options

Unlike mass-produced beds, your Dapwood frame is available with many custom options at a very affordable price.

Poplar Wood Slats (Standard)

Poplar wood slats 2 ｽ" wide with approximately 3" spacing are standard. These are adequate for almost all uses and most mattress types.

Double Poplar Wood Slats (Recommended Upgrade)

Poplar wood slats 2 ｽ" wide with approximately 0.25" spacing. This option is recommended for beds with two adults and a heavier mattress.

Y-Leg Option (Slim Series Only)

Only recommended on Slim Series beds with two adults. Not required on Mod or Avant series as these beds use significantly more robust beams of wood, and also feature double head-to-toe centre beams where-as Slim only has one centre beam.

Wood Samples

Dapwood products are available in genuine linseed oil finish or entirely unfinished.

Remember, every display is different. The colours you're seeing on your display may not be an accurate representation of these products in real life. It is also extremely important to note that with natural products such as genuine hardwood, no two samples are ever the same. It is for this very reason that raw materials such as wood are so beautiful. When you purchase a piece of Dapwood furniture, you're buying a one-of-a-kind item, crafted especially for you.

Please note that Dapwood products are only available for delivery to one of our showrooms. If you'd like to have a Dapwood product delivered elsewhere in Canada, the cost of shipping from Edmonton to your location will apply as a separate surcharge.
