Large items including mattresses, electric adjustable beds, headboards or similar require delivery by truck freight. The two types of service for these large items are "curb-side/front door" and "in-home setup." In remote areas delivery may be to the closest freight depot.

Deluxe in-home setup is always included for mattresses delivered where we have showrooms (Edmonton & Calgary).

About In-Home Delivery

This is full service. Our carefully selected delivery professionals provide full installation of all items in your home. When they're done, the delivery company will remove all unwanted packaging materials. In most of our deluxe delivery areas we're also able to offer removal of your old mattress set. Removal of old mattresses is a flat $50 fee (up to two mattress sets) where available.

Additional Delivery Services & Charges

Curb-Side/Front Door Delivery

As this option implies, delivery is to your curb or front door. Depending on which Province you're located in, the definition of curb differs slightly. In some areas this would mean your order is brought to the nearest public point of access to your home, and then you are responsible for offloading from the back of the truck. In other areas this service may include drop off directly at your front door. Further still, for condo dwellers this service usually (but not always) includes drop-off at your unit, rather than the main building entrance.

Curb delivery is recommended when you're certain two healthy, capable adults are available to safely perform the work.

Deluxe Delivery Service Areas

West to Spruce Grove, North to Fort Saskatchewan, East to Sherwood Park and South to Leduc. Deluxe in-home service further outside of these areas would require a price quote. Our local delivery service will travel nearly anywhere up to 250 km from Edmonton.

Fort McMurray, AB
Our Fort McMurray delivery company picks up directly from our Edmonton showroom or warehouse once or twice per week. Fort McMurray orders where deluxe in-home setup is required are charged at a flat rate of $250.

Grande Prairie, AB
West to Dawson Creek (BC), North to Rycroft, and East to Valleyview.

Red Deer, AB
West to Rocky Mountain House, South to Olds, East to Stettler and North to Ponoka.

Calgary, AB
West to Canmore, North to Olds, Northeast to Drumheller (may be additional charge), East to Bassano and South to Claresholm. Deluxe service further outside of these areas would require a price quote.

Lethbridge, AB
Nearly any town within 100 km of Lethbridge is serviced. Please note smaller centres outside of Lethbridge may not be serviced as often.

Regina, SK
Nearly any town within 100 km of Regina is serviced. Larger examples including Moose Jaw and Weyburn. Please note smaller centres outside of Regina may not be serviced as often.

Winnipeg, MB
Most towns within 100 km of Winnipeg are serviced. Examples include Portage La Prairie or south to the border (Emerson). Please note smaller centres outside of Winnipeg may not be serviced as often.

London, ON
West to Sarnia, Southwest to Windsor, Northeast to Kitchener-Waterloo, East to Norfolk.

Toronto, ON

Halifax, NS
Halifax, Dartmouth and most centres up to 100 km from Dartmouth.

St. John's, NL
Nearly anywhere in the Avalon Peninsula area.

Large Item Delivery Cost

Many of our large items ship free of charge to nearly anywhere in Canada. There are very few exceptions, listed below.

Remote Locations
Deliveries to remote locations may incur additional fees. The Mattress & Sleep Company will always provide you with the option to cancel your order with no penalty should a situation arise where the additional charges are not agreeable. Remote locations include most of Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. In addition many smaller towns in the more populated provinces may still be considered "remote". If your town does not have a freight depot nearby chances are we would consider this a remote location.

All Söva mattresses
Shipping on Söva mattresses is a subsidized flat rate of $100 to most locations in Canada (free to our store in Edmonton). As with our free shipping offer, additional charges over and above the $100 flat fee may apply to remote locations.

Team 7 Furniture
Team 7 products are imported by The Mattress & Sleep Company to Canada, direct from Austria via Genoa, Italy. Due to the costs associated with this process we can only offer our free shipping terms on Team 7 orders of $6,000 or more. Any orders for less than $6,000 may be subject to additional freight charges. If you are near one of our retail stores we are happy to combine your order with other customers orders destined for our store to reach the free shipping minimums.
