St. Geneve cotton solids are designed to work well on their own, or to be mixed and matched with other St. Geneve patterns. The Capri solid is the "default" standard in St. Geneve and as such it is priced with many of the cotton jacquard sets. Cotton jacquards are woven patterns (never any prints!). Each and every cotton jacquard offered by St. Geneve is crafted from real 100% Giza Egyptian cotton, which is the finest variety of cotton used in bedding today. Nearly all cotton jacquards are woven exclusively in Italy, and all products are masterfully finished in British Columbia.

Matelassé makes the perfect accent fabric for your St. Geneve bedding package. These heavy quilted fabrics are warm and inviting, adding a unique texture and dimension to your bedroom. A coverlet is normally folded up and placed at the foot end of the bed. On chilly nights the coverlet may be pulled up to the top end of the bed for additional warmth. Matelassé fabric is perfect for bedskirts, shams, bedscarfs and cushions.

Linen is crisp, clean, comfortable, and soft, yet strong and durable. The harder you use it, the softer it gets and the stronger the fibres become. Linen is so highly absorbent that it holds up to twenty percent of it's weight in moisture before it feels damp, and easily releases it's moisture into the air to remain uniquely cool in the summer. It has excellent launderability, and it is non-allergenic, non-static, and lint free. It is even mildew and moth resistant. Bed sheets made out of linen are uncommonly strong, soft, and wonderfully cool for sleeping.

Micro Modal® is a wonderfully soft, light and airy fabric made from beech wood cellulose. The thread is made in Austria, and is then woven in Italy. Because it is a natural fibre, Micro Modal breathes 50% better than cotton, and remains soft and silky even after numerous machine washings.

Soft as silk, even cooler than cotton, and long lasting (with care), Micro Modal is becoming very popular as a bed linen.

Silk is an extremely soft and luxurious fabric. It is much stronger than any other textile fibre, and there is nothing as wonderful as good quality silk. When properly cared for it will last for many years.

Cashmere is soft, very fine wool hand combed from Cashmere goats raised in Mongolia. This fabric is machine washable and softens even more with use. It is simply the best.
