St. Geneve went back and looked at the original traditional European method of making a truly wonderful pillow. You take a high quality down for softness, and blend it with a special type of downy looking feather for spring and durability. Only Hutterite down and feather would do for this pillow.

The Hutterites are an old Christian group devoted to a simple agricultural lifestyle. They follow the basic teachings of the Bible, and live peacefully in self-sustaining communities. When they emigrated from Europe over a century ago, they brought the farming skills of generations with them, including the raising of geese and ducks.

This pillow is made in the old European Tradition, with 60% duck down for softness, and 40% small fluffy duck feathers for spring and durability. And of course it is permanently downproof. St. Geneve handsew the pillow in their special sealed edge construction. This pillow is suitable for those desiring a firmer support.

Machine Wash & Dry, one pillow at a time, using hot water. Dry hot, ensuring all the fill is completely dry. This may take several cycles. We strongly recommend always using a good quality washable pillow protector (Not included).
