When choosing an appropriate mattress it is important to ensure the mattress is as flexible as possible. For this reason we do not recommend spring mattresses on adjustable foundations. If you are adding a separate mattress to your Designer Series base simply choose the corresponding Twin XL, Queen or King mattress only, without a foundation or boxspring. If you'd prefer independent movement for each half of the bed simply select a pair of Twin XL Designer Series bases and two Twin XL mattresses rather than one king.

Other areas are to the closest dry area (such as the front door or driveway).
