St. Geneve import this incredible down directly from Germany. Starting with select batches of mature white goose down, it is meticulously hand sorted to obtain the largest clusters, with the highest densities and cling factor possible. It looks and behaves very much like a white eiderdown. It is incredibly soft and lightweight, and this down will last for generations. This down carries the Zurguard® certification to be Hypoallergenic. This duvet features a 400 Thread Count, 100% Egyptian Cotton sateen fabric which is woven by one of Germany's oldest down proof fabric mills. It is made specifically for this exceptional down, and it is amazingly light and soft. It carries the symbol for German Quality Assurance, the Oeko® certification of purity, and SanProCare® which certifies that it is considerably more breathable than any other cotton. And of course it is permanently downproof. It is beautifully lustrous, and with reasonable care, it will last for decades.

Not sure which fill weight to choose? Hot sleepers or those who keep their bedroom warmer should choose an ultra light fill. Those who sleep moderately warm and keep their room at slightly cooler temperatures usually do well with a light weight duvet. For cold sleepers or those who do not heat their bedroom at night, a regular weight should be chosen. It is also important to know that in the unlikely event your duvet is too cool, we are able to have it filled to the next highest fill level, where-as we are unable to remove down should it prove too warm. When in doubt, lighter is better!

High quality down is much more efficient than low quality down.
