We deliver small items anywhere that Fedex, Purolator, UPS or Canada Post will go. Small items include anything from bedding and towels to items as large as a crib mattress (Crib mattresses are by Fedex, Purolator or UPS only). We deliver large items such as mattresses, electric beds or headboards anywhere in Canada with year-round road access.

In-Stock Items
The Mattress & Sleep Company will ship your in-stock items via Fedex, Purolator or Canada Post.

Drop-Ship Orders
In situations where your order or portions of your order are not in stock, we will typically have the supplier drop-ship on our behalf. Most of our suppliers ship via UPS.

PO Box, General Delivery, Remote Location
We will deliver to a post office box, general delivery, etc, however this may delay your order for items which we normally would have sent directly from the supplier (our suppliers only use UPS, who do not deliver to PO boxes). To ensure the fastest delivery please provide a physical street address wherever possible.

The Mattress & Sleep Company offers free shipping on almost all bedding orders of $100.00 or more (before tax). For orders of less than $100.00, please see the chart below for shipping charges.

GST (or HST, where applicable) will be added to any shipping charges collected during checkout.

Small items include essentially everything other than mattresses and headboards. For all over sized items, please see the Large Item Delivery section below.

Remote Locations

Deliveries to remote locations may incur additional fees. The Mattress & Sleep Company will always provide you with the option to cancel your order with no penalty should a situation arise where the additional charges are not agreeable. Remote locations include most of Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Labrador. In addition many smaller towns in the more populated provinces may still be considered "remote". If your town does not have a freight depot nearby chances are we would consider this a remote location.

All over sized items which are unable to ship via Canada Post, Purolator or UPS will require traditional truck-freight shipping (essentially all mattresses and headboards). Delivery is free to most areas. For some remote locations freight charges may be additional and in these circumstances we will always consult you prior to order processing.

Large Item Delivery Fee: Free Across Canada (with three exceptions noted below):

Team 7 Furniture
Team 7 products are imported by The Mattress & Sleep Company to Canada, direct from Austria via Genoa, Italy. Due to the costs associated with this process we can only offer our free shipping terms on Team 7 orders of $6,000 or more. Any orders for less than $6,000 may be subject to additional freight charges. If you are near one of our retail stores we are happy to combine your order with other customers orders destined for our store to reach the free shipping minimums.

All Söva mattresses
Shipping on Söva mattresses is a subsidized flat rate of $100 to most locations in Canada (free to our store in Edmonton). As with our free shipping offer, additional charges over and above the $100 flat fee may apply to remote locations.

The Mattress & Sleep Company ships most products only within Canada. We ship Crescent Moon, Green Sleep, Luxeport and St. Geneve products to the United States on request. Simply place your order online or Toll-Free on 1-877-750-1212. Certain products may incur brokerage and/or customs fees and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Our $100 free shipping offer is typically valid to the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii are an extra charge. Your order is billed in CAD, USD upon request.

Orders destined for the rest of the world are on a case-by-case basis. Please Contact Us and we'll be happy to discuss the options. Many of our products have found their way to Australia, Japan, Europe and elsewhere.

Wherever possible, we provide you with a tracking number when your order ships. There are situations where this is not possible (normally on items arriving via truck-freight).

If your complete order is in stock, The Mattress & Sleep Company will ensure everything leaves in a timely fashion, which is usually the same business day, provided the courier hasn't already picked up for the day. Most in stock orders ship from Edmonton, Alberta. Delivery times for in stock items vary by distance. For example, an order to Winnipeg will take less time to arrive than an order to Halifax.

Yes! We will send in-stock portions of your order separately from out of stock items so long as the individual shipments still exceed the $100.00 free shipping threshold. Should the in-stock portion of your order not exceed the $100.00 free shipping threshold you may still request shipment and we will bill the freight charges as per our standard rates for orders below $100.00.

Shipping on Austin Air purifiers is typically free to most areas in Canada. As these are a very heavy item additional shipping costs may apply to certain remote areas.

Austin Air Replacement Filters
Shipping on replacement filters is free of charge to customers who purchased their original Austin Air purifier from The Mattress & Sleep Company. Shipping for all other customers is a flat rate of $50. The $50 fee is automatically added to all filter orders. Once your order is received, we check against our database and waive the fee for our existing customers.
