- We have stores in Calgary, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park
- Mattresses, adjustable beds, and furniture orders in the Calgary & Edmonton areas include free delivery, professional in-home setup, and disposal of packaging. Removal of your existing mattress set is available.
- Pick-up from one of our stores or warehouses is free.
- Free Shipping to most locations across Canada on orders totalling $100 or more before tax. $20 flat rate for orders under $100.
- Free Freight Delivery for all truck freight / large item shipments outside the Calgary & Edmonton areas. Deliveries to remote locations may incur an additional cost. Rural locations (for example, the first digit of your postal code is '0') are typically considered remote.
Where does The Mattress & Sleep Company deliver?
Free In-Home Delivery and setup are included with all mattress, furniture, or adjustable bed orders in the Calgary and Edmonton metropolitan areas, as we have locally owned & operated stores in Calgary, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park.
Courier-eligible orders are delivered anywhere in Canada that Canada Post, Canpar, FedEx, Purolator, or UPS will deliver to. Larger items that require truck freight are delivered to locations with year-round road access. We also deliver to the USA and select other countries. Please see the link below.
In-Stock Courier-Eligible Items
(Including Bed-in-a-box Mattresses)
The Mattress & Sleep Company will ship your in-stock, courier-eligible orders via Canada Post, Canpar, FedEx, Purolator, or UPS. Oversized items that cannot be shipped via courier will be shipped via truck freight.
Drop-Ship Orders
When portions of your order are not stocked in our stores or warehouses, we may request that the supplier deliver them directly to you on our behalf.
PO Box, General Delivery, Remote Location
We will deliver to a post office box or a remote location; however, this may delay your order for items we would usually send directly from the supplier (most of our suppliers use FedEx or UPS, which do not deliver to PO boxes or remote areas). A surcharge may apply when shipping to a PO Box, General Delivery, or Remote Location address.
To ensure the fastest delivery, please provide a physical street address wherever possible.
Shipping Rates - Canadian Shipping Addresses
The Mattress & Sleep Company offers free shipping on virtually all orders of $100 or more (before tax). For orders under $100, a flat shipping fee of $20 applies.
GST (or HST, where applicable) will be added to any shipping charges collected during checkout.
Deliveries to remote locations may incur an additional cost.

International Orders (Including USA)
Standard Shipping vs. Canada Post
Choosing our standard shipping option means we will use the shipper of our choice.
You may choose Canada Post as your shipping method during checkout for a modest fee, should you wish to have your order sent via Canada Post.
We must charge this fee for Canada Post shipments, as Canada Post charges us based on package size, not weight. Since many of our items are quite large yet lightweight (such as pillows), Canada Post typically charges 2-3 times the cost of other couriers, as they charge by weight rather than package size.
Please note that the Canada Post shipping option will only be offered for eligible orders. Specific shipping destinations and item combinations in your cart may result in situations where Canada Post shipping is unavailable.
Express Shipping
If you need your order fast, please call 1-877-750-1212. We're happy to ship in-stock items with overnight service. A surcharge will apply.
Remote Locations
Deliveries to remote locations could incur an additional cost. The Mattress & Sleep Company will always offer you the option to cancel your order without penalty if the added cost is not agreeable. Examples of remote locations include the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Labrador. In addition, many smaller towns in the more populated provinces may still be considered "remote".
When will my order arrive?
We endeavour to keep popular products in stock to fulfil orders as quickly as possible. Please note that, with a product catalogue comprising millions of variants, many of our products are made to order. Each product page will indicate whether a particular item is typically in stock or needs to be ordered for you.
Typical delivery estimates:
- In-stock products (courier-eligible): 1-6 days
- Vancouver: 2 business days
- Calgary or Edmonton: 1 business day
- Regina or Winnipeg: 2 business days
- Toronto: 3 or 4 business days
- Ottawa or Montreal: 4 business days
- Halifax: 5 or 6 business days
- In-stock products (non-courier eligible/truck freight):
- Calgary or Edmonton: 1-2 business days
- Larger centres in Western Canada: 2-5 business days

If your entire order is in stock, The Mattress & Sleep Company will ship it promptly, typically within one business day. Most in-stock orders ship from Edmonton, Alberta. Delivery times for in-stock items vary by distance. For example, a shipment to Winnipeg will arrive sooner than a shipment to Halifax.
If your needs are time-sensitive, we recommend calling to confirm availability before placing an order.
How do I track my order?
Wherever possible, we provide you with a tracking number when your order ships. There are situations where this is not possible (usually for items arriving via truck freight).
If you created an account during the secure checkout process, sign in to view your past order history, tracking numbers (where available), and more.
Do you split ship orders?
Yes! Upon request, we will send in-stock portions of your courier-eligible items separately from out-of-stock items, provided that the individual shipments still exceed the $100 free shipping threshold. Should the in-stock portion of your order not exceed the $100 free shipping threshold, you may still request shipment, and we will bill the freight charges at our standard rates for orders under $100.
Please note that split shipments are available on request only. Click/tap "Add instructions for TMASC" during checkout, then leave a note to request a split shipment.
Orders sent outside of Canada are only shipped complete.
Signature
An indirect signature is required for all shipments valued at $500 or more. If someone is not typically at home during the day, we recommend having your order shipped to a business address.
If you prefer to have your order sent without a signature requirement, please know that The Mattress & Sleep Company cannot assume responsibility for damaged, lost, or stolen packages. Any shipment sent without a signature requirement is entirely at your own risk.
To waive the signature requirement for orders of $500 or more, please include special notes by navigating to the Shopping Cart page and then clicking or tapping "Add instructions for TMASC".
USA Orders
Ordering Process & Policies for Orders to the USA:
- TMASC offers the following brands to our US customers:
- Abyss & Habidecor (delivered from Canada)
- Berkeley Ergonomics (delivered from the factory in Ontario, California)
- Brink & Campman (delivered from the Netherlands with all import costs prepaid by us)
- Brun de Vian-Tiran (delivered from France with all import costs prepaid by us)
- Formesse (delivered from Canada)
- Le Blanc (delivered from Le Blanc in Tampa, Florida)
- St Genève (delivered from Canada)
- Wesley Allen (delivered from the factory in Los Angeles, California)
- Courier-eligible items are available with three possible shipping charges:
- Standard shipping (courier of our choice): $50 USD flat-rate per order
- Canada Post (final delivery via USPS): $100 USD for orders of $1,500 USD or less
- Canada Post (final delivery via USPS): $150 USD for orders of $1,500 USD or more
- Your order will be billed in USD
- Oversized items (Berkeley Ergonomics mattresses and Wesley Allen iron beds) incur a flat-rate $100 USD shipping charge per order
- We will send Berkeley Ergonomics and Wesley Allen from their factories in California directly to you
- While Canada and the USA have a free trade agreement (CUSMA), local or state taxes (if applicable) are ultimately your responsibility
- Clarity on USA import tariffs: You will not receive a bill for the import tariff (if applicable). The majority of the items we ship to the US from Canada are CUSMA-compliant and do not incur a tariff. For the small number of items that do incur an import tariff, this is prepaid by TMASC
International Orders
