The Valini 2000 organic pillow is filled with pure sheep's wool from Texel island in Holland. Texel wool is far superior to the typical merino wool found in most mattresses and bedding products. The fibres are more resilient and loft up better, while not packing down as easily. Texel wool is also the only certified pH neutral (pH 7) wool found in any bedding product today. The benefit of pH neutral wool is that the risk of any sensitivity or allergy, even for those with potential concerns about wool allergies, are essentially non-existant.
