Hybrid Mattresses
Hybrid mattresses are often defined as a traditional spring mattress layered with latex or memory foam cushioning on top. This is a very broad definition as most mattress manufacturers today include one or both of these materials sandwiched between layers of standard low density polyurethane foam. This approach does not solve the problem of the typical mattress only offering just a few short years of decent comfort and support.
The Mattress & Sleep Company believes that the best hybrid mattresses utilize either natural latex foam atop a high spring count single, dual or triple layer pocket coil system or responsive memory foam over a natural latex core. Our Berkeley Ergonomics hybrid mattress selection is finished only with pure organic cotton and wool outer layers. We use high-performance, elastic materials for the best comfort, support and durability.
Our Berkeley Ergonomics and Natura hybrid mattresses are hand made in Alberta, California and Quebec from only Canadian, American and European sourced raw materials.
A high-performance hybrid mattress with zero polyurethane foam starts at $1,100~ in twin, $1,800~ in queen and $2,300~ in king. Our stores in Calgary, Edmonton and Sherwood Park display the most popular hybrid mattress models. Professional in-home delivery & setup are included in the Calgary, Edmonton and Sherwood Park areas at no extra cost. Truck shipping to most locations in Canada is also available for a nominal fee.
