European Furniture & Bedding
The Mattress & Sleep Company believes we have established one of the most well-thought-out ranges of furniture, mattresses, bedding and bath available anywhere in North America today. Why? The vast majority of our high quality solutions originated in Europe.
Europeans always seem to be just a little bit ahead of us when it comes to not only quality, but environmental stewardship and even design trends, too.
With this in mind, you'll find a mix of solutions which are made in Europe and then shipped here and an array of products built to European standards right here in Canada or the USA.

Made in Europe, through-and-through
These are brands we work with where the item is made in Europe and then shipped to North America. We consider ourselves fortunate to offer some of the very best furniture, mattresses, bedding and bath that Europe has to offer.
Abyss & Habidecor is a family business which has blossomed into a high-end internationally recognized brand synonymous with quality and luxury. Always working with the finest raw materials; Pure cotton, including 100% Giza 70 Egyptian Cotton, Linen, Silk, Modal and others. Abyss & Habidecor produce their towels and bath/accent rugs through both hand-guided tufting and high technology weaving machines.
Brun de Vian-Tiran, the leading French manufacturer of natural blankets, has been preserving its know-how over two centuries in an uninterrupted family tradition.
All blankets crafted by this incomparable manufacturer include the "Textile de France" certificate. This means that each blanket is fully made in France: spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing. This is very different from an item being labelled as "Made in France." This label means such a product could be finished in France, but with fabrics which were imported from elsewhere.
Celso de Lemos is a sister company to Abyss & Habidecor. Originating out of Portugal, Celso is crafting some of the most luxurious, exquisite bed linens available anywhere in the world today. The Mattress & Sleep Company is one of a handful of retailers offering this exclusive line here in North America.
TEAM 7 are the global leader in natural wood furniture, producing healthy, flexible, highly durable room interiors in contemporary designs for home, office and public buildings that are in harmony with nature.

Aside from display pieces, TEAM 7 is truly made-to-measure. The process normally includes sitting down together and tailoring a solution to your specific needs.
Made in North America with European Influence
There are leading-edge companies in Canada and the USA who are largely influenced by European philosophy and quality. We're proud to say we work with some of the best in our industry.
Berkeley Ergonomics specialize in handcrafted natural pocket spring mattresses which are made in California and utilize European sourced components. Quality raw materials include only the use of organic French wool, organic cotton, natural Talalay latex, Swedish and German pocketed springs and even camel hair. There are no polyurethane foams or polyestre fibres in any of their products.
Richmond, BC is the home of St Geneve fine bedding. The founder, Michael de la Place, builds some of the very best down duvets and pillows anywhere in the world today, based upon the proven, time-tested designs originated in Europe. Nearly every high end bed linen is woven in Italy or Germany, with the finished bolt of fabric finding its way to Richmond, where these fine linens are cut and sewn into exquisite bedding products.
