Mattress Toppers

There are several situations where adding a mattress topper is a great idea.

1. If your existing mattress is in good condition, with no dips or sags, but it is currently too firm for you, then a mattress topper is a great idea.
2. If your new mattress is designed to last 10 years or more, then a mattress topper is a great idea. A topper will help preserve the outer materials of a new mattress and keep it more hygienic.
3. Even if you have a two-sided mattress designed to be turned, it is far easier to turn a mattress topper. Adding a well-constructed mattress enhancer significantly reduces the need to turn your mattress. This is the perfect situation to consider adding a mattress topper.
4. You've chosen the softest possible mattress, and you need something even softer. In this case, choose the St Genève Heirloom Goose Down Mattress Topper or one of the Harrison Spinks luxury enhancers.

A mattress topper cannot fix a worn-out and sagging mattress. Generally speaking, a topper will accentuate a mattress's sagging when placed on it, making it even more noticeable.

A mattress topper generally cannot make a mattress firmer. There are some limited cases where a mattress topper might increase surface tension. In these limited circumstances, this increased surface tension will provide the sensation of increased firmness.

This is a rare outcome, and we highly recommend talking to a team member before proceeding with any topper if you expect this result.
