We believe natural bedding, mattresses and textiles offer considerable advantages over their synthetic counterparts in several key areas:

• Natural materials are superior at absorbing excess moisture (polyester only absorbs about 1% of its weight in moisture, while sheep's wool absorbs 30-40%)

It is essential to note that "natural" and "organic" have distinct meanings. These differences are mostly down to marketing tactics. Organic certificates are not safety certificates. It is appropriate to view all organic certificates within the scope of marketing, not health or safety.

Remember, everything is a chemical. Water is a chemical (H2O). There is no such thing as a chemical-free mattress, just as there is no such thing as a chemical-free anything.

We believe the best kids' mattress is made from breathable, temperature-regulating materials. We believe sheep's wool is the perfect material for this task. Wool is exceptionally good at regulating temperature and humidity. It is also proven to steady the heart rate and to settle children faster than synthetic fibres.

The sheep's wool in our mattresses is soft and gentle, ensuring it won't cause irritation or allergy issues. Sheep's wool is also a natural fire retardant, which means that all of our mattresses with wool are not treated with any chemical fire retardants.
