St Genève began as a small Canadian family business, started by their founder, Michael de la Place who began creating patterns and developing design features over forty years ago. Today St Genève is a world-renowned manufacturer of luxury bed linens and quality down products. St Genève has an international reputation as a leader in design, quality, and trust.

Quality has always been their primary objective. A member of Downmark – the Down Association of Canada, St Genève has been active in many of its initiatives. Mr. de la Place was first elected as president of Downmark in 1997.

The types of down St Genève use have tremendous insulating power which is maintained by their high loft, density, and clinging ability. These properties make the most luxurious down products because they are warm and lightweight.

St Genève bed linens are Designed and Sewn in Canada using the highest quality Silk, GIZA 45 Egyptian Cotton, Extra-Long Staple (ELS) Cotton, Linen, and Micro Modal® fabrics, woven by specialty mills in Germany and Italy. The collections are designed and meticulously hand-crafted at our manufacturing facility by an exceptional team, many of whom have been with St Genève for decades.
