Latex Mattresses

Looking for a natural latex mattress? While nearly all latex foam is marketed as natural, the majority is either synthetically blended or made entirely from petrochemicals.

Even if the latex is made from 100% rubber tree milk, not all rubber tree latex is created equal. There are significant quality differences between natural latex foam producers. For these reasons, we are very cautious about where we source our natural and organic latex. We do not consider a synthetic blended latex mattress natural, even though it might have natural content.

The Mattress & Sleep Company offers what we believe is the best type of Talalay latex foam and the best Dunlop latex foam. Each of these latex foam types offers a wide variety of comfort, firmness and support choices to customize your latex mattress to the exact needs of each sleeper.

• The best-performing latex foam available today is 100% natural Vita Talalay latex. Vita Talalay is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and Cradle to Cradle® gold certified and is found in our Berkeley Ergonomics mattress collection
• The Dunlop latex in our t•masc mattresses is GOLS certified organic. Our t•masc mattresses are handmade in Ottawa by Obasan
• All of our latex mattresses manufactured by Berkeley Ergonomics and Obasan exclusively use all-natural materials throughout, including pure sheep's wool, camel down and cotton. There are no synthetic materials or chemical fire barriers
  
• Our all-latex mattresses are the best-performing mattresses to pair with an adjustable bed

The products in this collection are spring-free. Our hybrid mattress collection features several European pocket coil beds with all-natural latex foam.
