The Copenhagen features 10" of the finest natural Talalay latex available anywhere today. Manufactured in small batches by Radium in The Netherlands, Vita Talalay latex is an ultra-high-performance natural rubber offering.

Unique to the Copenhagen mattress is a pure camel down layer quilted directly beneath the outer organic cotton fabric. Camel down (the soft inner portion of the camel fibre) is exceptionally soft, breathable and thermal-regulating. There is also a layer of Plein-Air French sheep's wool under the camel down which takes these desirable properties a step further.

The mattress is available in your choice of Plush, Medium or Firm, while those choosing a Queen or King-sized bed may also choose a different firmness for each sleeping partner.

Overall, Copenhagen is a rather soft bed, even in the "firm" version. Copenhagen offers four key advantages over the typical latex mattress:

The mattress is available in Plush or Firm, the plush version can be changed to a medium for free by swapping the middle with the bottom layer.
A certified organic cotton outer covering that is zippered and removable, allowing for easy transport and customized firmness for each half of the mattress.
Pure camel down and Plein-Air French sheep's wool quilted to the outer cotton acts as a natural fire barrier without resorting to chemical treatments, in addition to providing optimal temperature and humidity regulation.
