    The Extra-Firm Bed-in-a-Box

    The Hard Bed Mattress™ is gently compressed and rolled into a cardboard carton, allowing for fast, free courier shipping within all 10 Canadian provinces. The Mattress & Sleep Co. fulfills Hard Bed orders from our warehouses in Calgary and Edmonton. Our courier partners include Canpar, FedEx, Purolator and UPS.

    When your new Hard Bed arrives, open the carton to get started. You'll discover Hard Bed is wrapped in plastic and is easier to carry into your home once the cardboard box is removed. Once you've placed Hard Bed onto your bed frame or existing box spring, carefully cut the plastic along the length of the mattress, and then marvel as Hard Bed springs to action.

    Your Hard Bed will be ready to sleep on that first night; however, it takes 24-48 hours for this extra-firm mattress to regain 100% of its original firmness.

    As we age, our needs can change. Traditionally, these changes would necessitate a mattress replacement, even in situations where your existing mattress is in otherwise good condition. Our Zippered Forever Beds offer the option to rearrange the existing components or strategically replace one or two layers to further enhance comfort.

Do you keep mattresses in stock?

Yes! Our warehouses in Calgary, Edmonton & St. Albert stock nearly every mattress model in popular sizes. We offer in-home delivery or same-day pickup.

In addition, our stores in Calgary, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park stock popular bed-in-a-box mattresses, which are available for immediate pickup and loading into almost any vehicle.

Our Edmonton store features an attached warehouse with additional on-hand inventory.

Will you remove my old mattress?

Yes! For our local customers in the Calgary & Edmonton areas, we can remove unwanted mattresses and/or boxsprings for a flat fee of $30 per piece, on a one-to-one basis with your newly delivered mattress.
