All About the Piatra Wool Duvet

The Mattress & Sleep Company first asked St Genève for a wool duvet many years ago. Of course, not just any wool duvet. It needed to check many boxes. Wool duvets are normally quite stiff. It was critical that this duvet would drape perfectly over the body. Critically important, it must not make excessive noise. Many duvets of this variety are often quite noisy. The duvet needed to be affordable. It required all of these elements to wear the St Genève mark.

Piatra duvets and pillows are filled with the finest 100% pure and natural Merino wool to give you the greatest night’s sleep. It has an incredibly soft and lightweight feel that drapes perfectly over your body.

The natural properties of wool provide unparalleled four-season comfort and the most peaceful night’s sleep.

Highly Breathable and Naturally Temperature Regulating. When the wool fibres are layered together, tiny pockets of air form that absorb and release moisture—keeping you dry and cool in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter.

About St Genève

Over 50 years ago, St Genève's founder, Michael de la Place, was delighted by the blissful comfort of his parents’ new European down duvet. At the time, duvets were virtually unknown in North America, and Michael fell in love. He learned that there was nothing like being cocooned in a finely crafted down duvet.

St Genève is located in Richmond, British Columbia.
