All About the Danish Latex Neck Pillow

Finally, a proper neck pillow made of responsive, supportive latex foam. If you have ever tried a neck pillow that did not work but believe it would be better support for your cervical spine, this is the product to try. Available in 3 distinct firmnesses.

Individuals with broad shoulders or those who prefer a harder pillow should choose the firm version.

Those of average size should choose the medium option. The Talalay latex used here is tremendously supple yet considerably more elastic than other foams, resulting in an extremely supportive pillow.

Someone of smaller stature, or someone of average build who prefers a softer pillow, should choose soft. This is a truly luxurious, comfortable neck pillow that is less likely to trigger the headaches that overly firm pillows often cause.

Includes a removable, washable, organic stretch-knit cotton cover. The cover is a bit loose when new, as it is oversized intentionally to fit properly after some intentional shrinking during the first laundering.

Too Soft for Me

Purchased in an attempt to relieve neck pain, however, it did not work for me. I purchased the 'medium'. Perhaps the 'firm' would have been better. Unfortunately, I wasted $243 (tax included).

Excellent pillows

We bought two pillows, one medium, one soft, and we are very happy with the purchase. By far the best pillows we have ever owned, very comfortable and supportive. The customer service is great. Best sleep in years

This pillow is wonderful, I purchased the medium and I just can't wait to sleep! I also really like the location in Edmonton, whenever I've been there the staff is easy going and helpful. I've never felt pressured shopping there, I'm really indecisive so I really appreciate not being pushed into buying something.

Berkeley soft neck pillow

Too soft for the best neck support; however,if you have a better quality latex topper eg: Radium foam talalay -then your head will rest very close to the surface of the bed-slightly tilted back- which is a good thing for proper spine allignment. Funny thing is I would have known that the soft version of this pillow works if not for the great bed I am now using.Otherwise I am inclined to think the perfect version of this pillow rests somewhere between the medium and the soft. Berkeley would also do well to rip off Sissel pillows design!

I own an Orthex Somnia 3 Pillow and was wondering how this compares.

It is very difficult to compare these two types of pillows. The only thing they have in common is that they're both cervical contoured pillows. Polyurethane foam (found in the Orthex range) and natural latex (from which our Danish Neck Pillow is made) are vastly different materials.

Good for all positions or only back sleeping?

Most appropriate for back sleeping. For side sleeping it could be used but the contour will not likely fit into the neck, more likely to be on the face. Stomache sleepers should use a thinner less supportive pillow.
