If someone spills something by mistake, you can simply remove the turntable to clean it.

The innovative extension technology has been reduced to a minimum height and is integrated almost invisibly into the table behind the table frame that has become synonymous with miró. This makes it possible to sit comfortably with maximum legroom. The bidirectional, soft-close swivel technology makes it easy to open and close the integrated table inserts quietly and provides additional comfort and safety. One nifty detail in the extension technology is the hinged filler panel on the table insert that keeps the pull-out rails hidden even when the table is extended, ensuring a consistent look. A mechanical locking element ensures maximum stability and securely closed tabletop joints.
