Abyss & Habidecor's Must bath rugs, renowned for their luxurious texture and exceptional absorbency, are crafted using the illustrious 60-colour palette that complements the acclaimed Abyss towels. These rugs are not only soft to the touch but are also designed for durability and longevity.

Must rugs feature an inset border detail and are offered in 6 standard sizes. Customizations are available, including removing the border or non-slip backing, and special sizes up to 150 x 200 cm.

  • The Best Cotton in the World

    Certified Giza Egyptian Cotton Extra Long Staple is recognized as the finest cotton in the world and is used to produce Abyss & Habidecor towels and bathrobes. Cultivated on the banks of the Nile, the cotton is picked by hand. The fibre is treated to create yarn of exceptional quality, resulting in superior softness, absorbency, durability and elegance.

    Although it is common to see textiles, particularly bed linens and towels, labelled as made from "Egyptian cotton", genuine Egyptian cotton is exceedingly rare.

    Based on 2025 global cotton production, only 0.2 to 0.4% of the total was Egyptian cotton. Giza Extra Long Staple is even rarer.

    Towels, bathrobes and bed linens crafted from this marvellous and scarce resource are truly a luxurious indulgence for everyday comfort.

  • The A&H Fossile Bath Rug is made from 100% Giza Egyptian Cotton Long Staple and is 37" in diameter

    Non-Slip Rug Backing

    All Abyss & Habidecor one-sided bath rugs include a non-slip backing. This backing is silicone-based and is very thin compared to the non-slip treatment found on typical bath rugs. The non-slip backing does not affect the rug's ability to be machine-washed and dried.

    On request, select Abyss & Habidecor rugs are available to order without the non-slip backing.

    Abyss & Habidecor rugs containing Lurex will always include a non-slip backing.

    Reversible rugs do not have a non-slip backing because they're designed to be turned and used on both sides.
