The Mattress & Sleep Company offers a comprehensive Abyss & Habidecor towel colour sampling programme for our clients across Canada.

In-store Samples

If you're local to us, consider visiting one of our stores in Calgary, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park. Each store keeps a set of Abyss Super Pile hand towels in all 60 colours.

Simply choose your desired sample(s), and then pay for them as if you were intending to keep them. The current price for Super Pile hand towels is $69.00 each.

Once you've made a decision, return the sample(s), and we'll either apply your original payment against a firm order or gladly refund you in full* should you decide not to purchase anything.

Samples Elsewhere in Canada

If you're not able to visit us, that's okay! TMASC has an excellent sampling program for our clients across Canada.

Drawing from the 60-colour hand towel sets in our Alberta stores, we'll send you all the requested sample(s).

Once you've made your decision, pack the sample(s) in the original shipping carton, attach the shipping label, and drop off the parcel. A prepaid shipping label is included with your sample(s).

In addition to the current price for Super Pile hand towels ($69.00 each), we charge a flat fee of $25 per sample order.

Upon placing your sample order, TMASC will issue a $25 online store credit to use on a future purchase with us. This $25 credit can be used for any of our offerings and is not limited to Abyss & Habidecor.

Once we receive your returned sample(s), we'll refund your order in full*, less the $25 sample fee, which we have already issued back to you in the form of a $25 online store credit.

*The Fine Print

Abyss & Habidecor craft the finest towels in the world, and as such, they're not inexpensive. To help ensure the viability of our sampling programme, The Mattress & Sleep Company will only refund samples returned to us in "like new" condition with the A&H retail tag attached.

If a towel shows obvious signs of damage or has been clearly used or washed, we will not provide a refund.

We must receive your returned samples within 60 days of the original order date.

A&H Colour Sample Ordering Tips

Our tips and recommendations for a successful towel & rug sampling journey:

  • While our hand towel samples are offered explicitly in the world-famous Abyss Super Pile Towel Collection, the 60 colours on offer are found in all Abyss & Habidecor towels, rugs, robes & bath accessories.
  • For example, the Abyss Fogo Towel Collection is a two-tone towel with a 100 White base and your choice of 165 Apple Green or 278 Yuzu contrasting colour. If you were considering the Fogo towel in 278 Yuzu, we would recommend ordering hand towel samples in both 100 White and 278 Yuzu.
  • Patterned rugs, such as the Monoke bath rug, draw inspiration from complementary A&H colours. In this case, you may wish to order hand towel samples in 103 Ivory, 210 Aqua, 235 Ice, 280 Evergreen, 610 Nude, and 940 Atmosphere to fully appreciate the range of colours in this designer rug.
  • Consider placing an order only for towel samples. Avoid ordering other products at the same time, as this allows us to issue your $25 store credit, effectively providing a $25 discount on your next order from TMASC!
