  • Lajord down is one of the finest farm-raised goose downs in North America
  • 400 Thread Count, 100% Cotton Sateen Cover
    • Cotton cover is 110 grams per square metre (3.2 ounces per square yard)
    • Fabric is down proof and dust mite proof
    • Piped in white satin cording
    • Genuine three-dimensional sealed baffle box design, which means down physically cannot migrate from one compartment to another
  • Corner attachment points for securing to the inside corners of a compatible duvet cover (including any St Genève duvet cover), preventing your duvet from migrating to the bottom of the cover
  • Winter fill is guaranteed for warmth
  • Zurguard® certified to be hypoallergenic

All About the Lajord Goose Down Duvet

The Hutterites are an old Christian community devoted to a simple agricultural lifestyle. Different Hutterite colonies specialize in different agricultures. Lajord white goose down comes from a unique goose farm located in southern Saskatchewan that takes great care in raising free-range geese that are more mature than those in other colonies. St. Genève takes their entire production each year. The Lajord duvet is one of our most popular and rightly so. The combination of the light, fluffy 850 loft down and a satiny smooth 400 TC 100% cotton ticking gives the duvet just the right amount of billowy comfort.

About St Genève

Over 50 years ago, St Genève's founder, Michael de la Place, was delighted by the blissful comfort of his parents’ new European down duvet. At the time, duvets were virtually unknown in North America, and Michael fell in love. He learned that there was nothing like being cocooned in a finely crafted down duvet.

St Genève is located in Richmond, British Columbia.
