All about the times bed

Time to dream.

At first glance, the times bed looks like it is floating. The bed owes its light appearance to its clever construction that keeps the feet out of sight. Its neat, minimalist stylistic elements also help you get a good night's sleep. The simple curves do not distract from dreaming.

In spite of its airily light appearance, the times bed also conveys a sense of comfort and security. This is due to the solid wood frame – and the natural characteristics of wood as a material. No metal is used at all in the ingenious construction of this bed. Instead, strong wooden slot joints are used, which also allow easy assembly and disassembly of the times bed. Several times, if you like.

European Sizing Only.

The Times bed is one of two TEAM 7 natural wood beds (the Light bed being the other) that is unavailable in Canadian / American bed sizes. As the most affordable floating bed frame from TEAM 7, the Times bed is offered in 3 wood types only.

The Mattress & Sleep Company has adapted the 200 x 210 cm version of the Times bed to work extremely well with our standard North American king size mattress. The only difference is an extra 7 cm of width and length, leaving a slightly larger gap for your mattress. We call this size 'TMASC King' - generously sized for thick duvets and bedding.

It is also possible to order select mattresses 2" wider and longer than the standard 76 x 80" size should you wish to avoid the larger gap between the mattress and bed frame.

All other TEAM 7 beds are available in Canadian queen (154 x 203 cm) and king (193 x 203 cm) size.

Essentials Edition.

The Times bed is available as a specially priced Essentials Edition in one size and one wood species.

Essential Edition pieces are specially priced and as with most TEAM 7 furniture, they are made to order in Austria, although we do occasionally have Sesam, Nox and Riletto beds either in stock or in production for a quicker lead time.
