The British Luxury Collection is born out of Harrison Spinks' passion for making the very best beds, in the very best way. For them, that means controlling everything that goes into their mattresses.

Harrison Spinks is the only British bedmaker to grow their own natural fillings. They produce hemp and flax on their farm at Hornington Manor in Yorkshire. The factory is just 18 miles away from the farm, in Leeds.

There are several situations where adding a mattress topper is a great idea.

1. If your existing mattress is in good condition, with no dips or sags, but it is currently too firm for you, then a mattress topper is a great idea.
2. If your new mattress is designed to last 10 years or more, then a mattress topper is a great idea. A topper will help preserve the outer materials of a new mattress and keep it more hygienic.
