Cairo PF Hybrid Mattress

It's firm but soft! Love that it gives incredible support for my back and a soft/luxurious feel. Comfortable for my side-sleeping husband too. We debated between the Copenhagen and this Cairo. Love that this zippered mattress option could allow some modifications in future for adding a bit more latex if desired OR allow changing out spring layers should anything “wear out” in a number of years. For now we're super happy!

I was having a discussion with a friend of mine the other day, and the conversation somehow went to the topic of beds and how my friend boasted about sleeping on the best bed in the world. We like to give each other a hard time, so I said there is no possible way that he had the best bed in the world as the one I recently got (the Cairo), is the best bed in the world. After some back and forth we both realized that we bought the same bed from the same place.

We have recently purchased a California King bed from the Mattress and Sleep Company in Calgary. We dealt with Christo, who was very knowledgeable and was able to assist us in making our choice. After talking with several salespeople at TMSC and realizing that they all sleep on either a Cairo or Copenhagen, I decided to give the Cairo a try as it felt just as comfortable as the Copenhagen, but was cheaper. What a great choice! I can see why this bed is so popular. It was a little bit stiff for the first couple of weeks, but they assured me the cover breaks in and stretches from some use. They were right about that. From about 2 weeks in, it has been so perfect.

Cairo Mattress and matching base purchased February 2021. We love this bed . The motion control is extremely good and it has resolved the pressure point issue. Daniel was a great salesman and other staff we dealt with were just as great. Thank you for the great delivery as well.

Friends call me the Princess and the Pea! I have found it very tough to find a good bed and continued to search until I found this one! Finally, I found the best bed ever! My sleep has improved drastically and my nighttime body aches have disappeared. We purchased this mattress without trying it out in the store because we felt very confident with the very good advice we received from Daniel. Due to Covid, we were staying close to home but had to move forward with the purchase because our previous bed was just not working out. It is a big investment but over the life cycle, it is actually very reasonable. I am able to do so much more each day because I am no longer in pain. It is just the best bed. I highly recommend it!

I purchase a Berkeley Cairo King Mattress in January of 2020.

I am very happy with the purchase experience. The sales people were relaxed, easy going and very knowledgeable. When visiting other mattress companies I found the staff felt pushy / high pressure and almost like buying a used car - Mattress & Sleep company was more like a high end boutique experience.

It's worth mentioning that initially I was not happy with the mattress. it was causing cramps and back pain even after giving my body 6 months to adjust to it. Because I purchased a Berkeley model that could be opened up (zipper around the edges), Dylan was able to switch me over to a firmer components. I had to make a few small adjustments to the slats in order to get it just right (with the Firm components) but can say now this is one of the best beds I have ever had and well worth the investment. I would recommend trying a few different firmness levels and laying on each mattress for 20 minutes, in order to avoid the problems I had.

My wife and I visited every mattress store in Calgary and found the best products, best people and best service at the Mattress and Sleep Country store just a few blocks south of Chinook Centre. The people there are extremely knowledgeable about all their products, and are very pleasant always, and not the least bit pushy. We recently purchased a new mattress there, and were advised there would likely be a 30 day adjustment period from our old mattress. Not the case. We both adjusted instantly, sleeping well from the first night. We dealt mostly with Christo, and will continue to do so, as we have now ordered a down duvet from him and intend to follow up on other bedding choices with him. My wife and I purchased a duvet here in the summer and found the staff incredibly knowledgeable super friendly as well as the store is immaculate. When it was time that we wanted to replace our mattress we knew The Mattress and Sleep Company would be one of the places we went to try out mattresses. The staff, in particular Christine, were so helpful and informative that we bought our mattress, pillows and a set of sheets and love all of them. We tried out many mattresses in store and ended up buying the Berkeley Cairo and have had the most comfortable sleeps since. Never did I feel like the team was trying to “upsold” us on our purchase and they have a wide range of price points so can accommodate most people. Without a doubt I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to buy a bed and will be returning for all our sleep needs as we continue to grow our family. Several years ago, I herniated a disc in my lower back. I saw nearly every paramedical professional under the sun before I decided to try upgrading my mattress. The difference it made was unbelievable. I can't say that regular exercise and stretching did not play a major role, but having proper support for my back helped to relieve a days pain and this was noticeable after the first nights sleep. Its funny how we are all willing to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a fancy car we drive for an hour or two a day, yet we aren't willing to put a fraction of that into a bed that we will spend 4 times that on every night! Well, I'm glad I made the investment into a better sleep and an all-round happier life!TMASC has a wide variety of mattresses that should reasonably fit any budget, but I wanted to make sure I got what suited me, so I opted to spend a bit more and I am sure glad I did! Amazing value for the price. Bit on the heavy side, but they were great about having considerate delivery service that was able to set it up. Service at TMASC was phenomenal and I am a firm (no pun intended) believer in "you get what you pay for!". Money well spent. I will be going back to TMASC for all my sleep needs and will strongly gravitate towards Berkeley for life.

My husband and I were recently looking for a cleaner alternative to our current mattress. The experience at The Mattress & Sleep Company was fantastic-- Christo encouraged me to try many different options within the store, complete with pillow choices, as well. We decided on the Berkeley Cairo and we have had such wonderful, restorative sleep since then! I'm currently eight months pregnant with twins and I have been able to sleep through the night since getting the Cairo. Firstly I have to say the customer service was absolutely amazing! I've never felt so welcome at a nother establishment or dealt with such knowledgable sales staff. The bed that Daniel helped my wife and I pick out is great. I have had the best sleep of my life. Although the bed is quite soft it is remarkably supportive giving me the best of both worlds. The only bad point about this bed is that we can't sleep on any other when we travel. Lol.

We are so pleased with the investment we made with our new mattress. At first, we weren't noticing anything exceptional about this new luxurious mattress. It wasn't until a week passed that I noticed how rested I actually was, it became a dramatic improvement to the rest from my old mattress. I used to wake up stiff and some serious hip pain from sleeping on my side. Now I don't spend my nights tossing and turning and I don't notice my partner moving or leaving the bed. We both now have fabulous solid nights of rest with no stiffness or pain in the morning. We love the temperature and humidity control with natural fibers and are really seeing it now that summer has arrived. This is an outstanding mattress and we appreciate the great service and knowledge we received in store. Thank you so much!
