All About the Dublin Hybrid Mattress

The Dublin hybrid mattress from Berkeley Ergonomics is offered as a plush and cradling version of the Berlin mattress, with double the amount of 100% natural Vita Talalay latex.

From head to toe, the Dublin spring system alternates between taller, larger-diameter springs and shorter, smaller-diameter springs. The alternating rows of taller and shorter pocket coils adjust well to all body types and distribute pressure more effectively than the typical method of pocket coil zoning.

The bi-level spring system in this mattress is also incredibly well-suited for use on electric adjustable bases.

Part of our Zippered Forever Bed™ collection, unzip the Dublin mattress and you'll see that the latex layers can be individually turned and rotated to extend the mattress's lifespan.

The outer zippered cover is made from 100% organic cotton ticking and 100% Plein-Air French sheep's wool, providing optimal temperature and humidity regulation. All materials are certified to be free of harmful chemicals by the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 , ensuring a clean and healthy sleep environment.

Traditionally, plush mattresses achieve their feel by using tons of polyurethane and memory foam. This material softens and sags quite easily, resulting in a bed that is a lumpy, cratered mess. By avoiding the use of these materials and substituting them with highly elastic Vita Talalay latex, you'll have a soft and cuddly bed that performs fantastically well for years to come. Best of all, as a Zippered Forever Bed™, Dublin's latex layers may be individually turned and rotated to extend the life of your mattress further.

Finish off your Berkeley Ergonomics mattress with a Formesse Bella Donna fitted sheet. Made in Germany, these specially fitted sheets are stretch-knit and super breathable. They work in perfect harmony with the high-performance elastic materials found in all BE mattresses.

    Our zippered mattresses allow access to their internal components. Renew, refresh and improve your Zippered Forever Bed™ at any point in the future.

    Many of the components found within our Zippered Forever Beds™ may be rotated and turned individually, resulting in more even wear and a longer lifespan. This style of maintenance is considerably more thorough than the alternatives. One-sided mattresses can only be rotated 180°, whereas traditional two-sided mattresses can be rotated and flipped.

    Our Zippered Forever Beds™ use natural cotton outer tickings for exceptional breathability and are one of many healthy components found in these mattresses.

    Inside your Zippered Forever Bed™ are all-natural fillings, including pure camel hair and sheep's wool. These animal fibres are non-allergenic and regulate temperature and humidity more effectively than synthetic fibres.
